Modernisation
In accordance with Order No. 227 of the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute dated 28 August 2025, the laboratory is undergoing a phase of modernisation aimed at improving the quality of the educational process, developing students' digital competencies and introducing modern multimedia technologies into teaching and research activities.
Purpose
The laboratory is used for:
- 1conducting classes using multimedia and digital tools
- 2developing and supporting electronic educational resources
- 3creating and editing educational, scientific and informational video materials
- 4providing visual support for educational and research projects
- 5supporting students' and faculty research and innovation activities
Equipment
The multimedia laboratory is equipped with modern hardware, including:
- 1professional video cameras
- 2workstations and software for digital editing
- 3lighting and sound equipment
- 4microphones, lavalier systems, tripods and professional headphones
- 5specialised furniture
Operations
The laboratory’s activities involve students who serve as operators, editors, correspondents and presenters.
The Multimedia Laboratory provides photo and video support for the institute’s educational, scientific and public events, including conferences, contests, guest lectures, official meetings and field events. It also records lecture videos by teaching staff using modern software tools.
The laboratory cooperates with departments, administrative units and the institute museum, participates in media projects and prepares informational and promotional video materials.
As part of collaboration with departments and cycle commissions, the laboratory records video lessons and instructional video materials by lecturers using modern tools and artificial intelligence technologies.
Together with the institute museum, media projects are implemented under the series «KAI Veterans» and «Guests of KAI». Video materials focus on the institute’s history, notable staff and invited guests and are published on the institute’s social media channels.
Cooperation with the commercialisation department is aimed at producing promotional and informational videos that support the promotion of educational programmes and the institute’s image. Students actively participate in creating socially significant and educational video materials.
The laboratory, together with the student council and according to an approved plan, participates in off-campus events, providing photo and video coverage and live reporting.
All produced video materials are posted on the institute’s official YouTube channel and published on the laboratory’s official Instagram page.
