Purpose
Organization and conduct of sociological research on issues affecting the social, economic, political and socio-cultural spheres of life at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov.
Priority tasks
- 1Conducting research activities in the analysis of socio-economic, political and socio-cultural relations, mass behaviour and public opinion.
- 2Creating and participating in applied and innovation-driven social projects of institutional significance.
- 3Monitoring methodological, academic and extracurricular activities.
- 4Implementing research activities in the social analysis of public relations and processes, mass behaviour and consciousness.
- 5Meeting the university's needs for sociological information and information products with a sociological component (in the areas of governance and administration, education, marketing, intercultural communication, and others).
- 6Organising and conducting applied, marketing and innovative social studies and projects.
Activities
The Laboratory's activities are planned to be carried out in close cooperation with departments and cyclical commissions (when working with students) and with the Deputy Director for Academic and Methodological Work (when fulfilling internal requests for the university).
Planned work
The Laboratory's first study is planned to be a monitoring sociological survey: "Social portrait of first-year students of KAI: motives for entry and problems of adaptation in the student environment".
