About the centre
The Education Portal Management Centre (EPMC) operates on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 5 April 2024 No 90 “On the Approval of the Concept of Digital Transformation of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2024–2028”. The EPMC defines the procedures and conditions for managing the information‑automated system of information‑educational resources and tools that provide conditions for the teaching staff in implementing the main educational programmes of higher, postgraduate and secondary professional education at the Aviation Institute.
Main tasks
The centre's tasks in the field of teaching and production activities:
- 1Ensuring the management of the information‑automated system of information‑educational resources and teaching‑management tools.
- 2Creating an information environment and conditions for the informational support of teaching‑management activities at the Aviation Institute: systematisation and ordering of information flows.
- 3Modernisation of the teaching‑management infrastructure.
- 4Developing methodology and technology for creating electronic courses and testing systems for retraining and professional development of staff.
- 5Informatisation of the Aviation Institute – creation and use of information computer systems and technologies in various areas of its activity, organising work with information as a representation of knowledge and information about the activities of teachers, staff and students.
- 6Informatisation of the educational services system – a long‑term, purposeful process of change aimed at providing the education sector with methodology, technology and practice of developing and effectively using modern information and communication technologies in the educational process and in education management systems.
- 7Information‑technical support of the external educational portal https://avn.kai.kg with teaching‑methodical complexes (TMC), various types of lectures, laboratory and practical sessions, continuous monitoring and intermediate assessment of students through direct interaction between teachers and students.
