Overview
The ICAO Quality, Flight Safety and Standards Department ensures implementation of quality policy and compliance of the educational process with ICAO standards, ISO requirements and the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of civil aviation. The department focuses on developing internal quality control systems, ensuring the safety of education, accrediting educational programmes and enhancing the institute's recognition at national and international levels.
Main tasks of the department
- 1Development, implementation and improvement of a quality management system in accordance with international ISO 9001 standards and the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of civil aviation.
- 2Control of the quality of the educational process and ensuring that training programmes for aviation specialists meet professional standards and state educational requirements.
- 3Organization and support of accreditation procedures for the institute and educational programmes with national and international accreditation agencies.
- 4Maintaining the institute's ranking recognition through internal quality assessment mechanisms and continuous improvement of educational activities.
- 5Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of educational and managerial processes in accordance with the regulatory framework of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- 6Control over compliance with flight safety and aviation security rules in training and production activities.
- 7Implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) principles and risk management in accordance with ICAO Annex 19 and regulatory acts of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- 8Cooperation with state bodies, international organizations and aviation enterprises on matters of quality, accreditation and certification.

- 1Development of the internal quality assurance system in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Education" and civil aviation regulations.
- 2Preparation and support of national and international accreditation procedures confirming compliance of educational activities with quality standards.
- 3Conducting internal audits, inspections and expert reviews of curricula and infrastructure.
- 4Carrying out analytical and methodological work on quality management and flight safety.
- 5Participation in forming the institute's ranking assessment at national and international levels.
- 6Improving staff qualifications in quality management, accreditation and safety culture.
- 7Organizing training events, seminars and workshops on quality, safety and legal regulation of civil aviation.
