-> Regulations on the Pedagogical Council

The Pedagogical Council is a collegial advisory body of the Department of Secondary Vocational Education of the Aviainstitut.

The Pedagogical Council shall be established for the purpose of:

- management of educational, upbringing and social processes,

- development of educational content,

- implementation of professional educational programs,

- Improving the quality of learning,

- improvement of methodical work of the Aviation Institute,

- promoting professional development for teachers in the ACT department.

Pedagogical Council in its activities is guided by the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Law of KR "On Education", "Air Code" of KR, "Regulations on Educational Organization of Secondary Vocational Education" approved by the Resolution of the Government of KR dated 03.02.2004 № 53, "Aviation Rules of KR" and other laws of KR, the Charter of the Aviation Institute, normative-legal and other documents on secondary vocational education.

Main areas of activity:

1. Consideration and discussion of the concept of development of the Aviation Institute's SPO department.
2. Determination of the main characteristics of the organization of the educational process:

• student admissions procedures;
• the procedure and grounds for expulsion of students;
• admission of students to the examination session;
• form, procedure and conditions of interim and final state attestation;
• grading systems for interim certification;
• of the students' exercise regimen;
• of the house rules;
• provision of paid educational services, the procedure for their provision, as well as the expenditure of extra-budgetary funds;
• the procedure for regulating and formalizing the relations of the Aviation Institute's SPO department and students;
• other issues of academic, educational and social directions.

1. Consideration and discussion of plans of educational and methodical work, if necessary - a plan for the development and strengthening of the educational, laboratory and material and technical base of the STR department.
2. Consideration of the state, measures and activities for the implementation of the state educational standard of secondary vocational education, including educational and programmatic, educational, methodological and information-technical support of specialties in which specialists are trained in the department of vocational education.
3. Consideration of the state and results of the academic work of the department of SPOa, the results of interim and final state attestation, measures and activities to prepare for their implementation, causes and measures to eliminate the dropout of students.
4. Consideration of the state and results of educational work of the SES department, discipline of students, hearing reports of class teachers.
5. Consideration of the status and results of methodological work of the LET department, including the activities of the methodological council, improvement of pedagogical and information technologies, methods and means of training.
6. Determination of the order of formation of cyclic methodical commissions, periodicity of their meetings, powers of the chairman and members of CMC, if it is not determined by the Charter of the Aviainstitute, review of CMC activities (hearing and discussion of teachers' work experience on new pedagogical and information technologies, author's programs, textbooks, teaching and methodical aids).
7. Consideration of the status, measures and activities to improve the experimental and design work, technical and artistic creativity of students of STR department.
8. Review and discuss issues related to the operations of the ACT office.
9. Consideration and discussion of legal measures and activities on fulfillment by the STR department of normative-legal documents of legislative and executive authorities on training of specialists with secondary vocational education.

Composition

The Pedagogical Council consists of the director, deputy directors, heads of departments and library, chairpersons of cycle commissions, heads of structural subdivisions of the VET department, physical education, methodologists, heads of training and production workshops, laboratories, preparatory courses. All teachers of the VET department are members of the Pedagogical Council.

The number and composition of the Pedagogical Council shall be approved annually at the beginning of the academic year by the order of the Director of the Aviainstitute.

The work of the Pedagogical Council shall be headed by the Chairman, who shall be the Director of the Aviation Institute, and the Deputy Director for Academic Work shall be the Deputy Chairman.

From the day of formation of the Pedagogical Council to the present time the secretaries were appointed and kept the minutes of the teachers as Kurmanov U. E., Nurkulova Z. M., Zhumalieva E. K., Abdyldaeva S. N., Junushalieva K. A. and Medeshova Z. J..
