Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov. I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute sees itself in the future as an attractive professional higher educational institution of research type, - a leader of the national and participant of the world educational process in the field of aviation and technical education and implementation of advanced innovative technologies.

 

The quality policy aims to:

  • Satisfaction of its consumers (stakeholders) with licensed educational services for training specialists with higher education on the basis of competence-based approach, with continuous improvement of their quality on the basis of effective feedback from consumers and employees.
  • Preservation of the historically accumulated potential of managing the processes of creating educational and scientific technologies and methods of their implementation, documented in the university in the form of standards, methods and other materials, their transformation and harmonization with international standards. 
  • Providing a unified information space for all employees of the Institute from technical staff to the rector in order to create and organize the effective functioning of the quality management system.
  • Development of principles and methods of motivation of the university staff for the transition to system positions of ensuring the quality of educational services, scientific and administrative technologies.
  • To ensure the necessary and sufficient educational level of all university employees in order to effectively build and implement quality management systems.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of the university quality management system, harmonization of its internal and external processes that guarantee the leading positions of the university in the world ranking.

 

 

Key Quality Objectives:

  • Implementation of measures according to the "Strategy of KAI development named after I.Abdraimov for 2019-2023".
  • Striving for a leading position at the national level of educational services and aviation, scientific and technical products.
  • Formation of organizational structure of the intra-university system of education quality assurance.
  • Establishment of a system of professional development of the Institute's management and staff in the field of education quality management.
  • Improvement of the system of control and management of education quality on the basis of strategic planning and introduction of modern management methods.
  • Development and implementation of a system of constant communication with consumers by monitoring the public perception of the university and employers' opinion of KAI graduates.
  • Definition of a set of internal processes of KAI named after I. Abdraimov, providing a sufficient level of quality of education in the Institute, the scheme of interaction of processes.
  • Development of process regulations and identification of those responsible for their implementation.
  • Finalization of quality system documentation.
  • Creation of the content of the new generation of educational and methodological support through the development of electronic educational publications.
  • Ensuring quality assurance of teaching staff, development and implementation of mechanisms and criteria for assessing the competence of teachers.
  • Creating motivational and organizational conditions for productive independent work of students.
  • Participation of students in the procedures of guaranteeing the quality of education by involving student self-government bodies in the quality system of the university.
  • Use of external quality assurance procedures for KAI named after I. Abdraimov and passing the national (international) accreditation of the university.
  • Development of international cooperation in the field of quality assurance of education.

 

 

Expected results

The implementation of the quality policy should enable:

  • to increase the responsibility of the Institute's staff at all levels of educational, scientific and administrative activities to manage the quality of educational services;
  • to make unified and transparent for all employees of the Institute and its partners the system of quality management of educational services;
  • to increase motivation of all employees to quality work, to rally the team around the idea of quality;
  • to increase the authority of the Institute in the national and international markets, to confidently occupy its niche in the Aviation activity, to achieve stable development of the quality management system of educational services;
  • increase the financial attractiveness of the Institute for internal and external investors;
  • to be recognized through international accreditation.

 

 

KAI named after I. Abdraimov sees its mission in strengthening its historical significance, improvement and development of aviation education, implementation of competitive educational programs in accordance with the needs of the labor market, social and public sphere, as well as achieving leadership in the educational system of the country.

 

The mission of the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute is to

building the educational process on the principles of advanced education, defining as the main result the professional competence of a graduate who meets the modern requirements of society.

 

KAI named after I. Abdraimov strives to meet the needs of society and the market of educational services in continuous and advanced education in a wide range of areas and specialties. The high level of education is ensured by the use of advanced information and communication technologies, world practice of organization and management of educational process and application of the concept of knowledge management.

 

At KAI named after I. Abdraimov modern forms of development of specialists' competences dominate due to activization of students and employees in independent development of new knowledge and skills and their use in practice.

aims to be internationally recognized with an exceptional business reputation for producing high caliber graduates who are competitive both domestically and internationally.

 

The Institute strives to realize the goals of the state strategy in the field of education and also creates prerequisites for increasing its status in the world educational space of aviation.

 

 

Strategic priorities

are determined on the basis of analysis of perspective trends in the development of higher education in modern society, taking into account the traditions and capabilities of the institute.

 

The characteristics of the institution according to the results of SWOT-analysis allow us to formulate the main priorities of the strategic development of the university:

  • ensuring the quality of educational, scientific and other activities;
  • Improvement of the mechanism for organizing the educational process in the PO system, its information and technical support, replenishment of the teaching and methodological base;
  • development of the professional development department with subsequent obtaining the status of the Republican Institute of Professional Development with the use of distance education technologies for training and retraining;
  • improving the efficiency of the Institute's management based on the principles of quality management;
  • strengthening the material and technical base of the institute and the infrastructure of the educational process;
  • ensuring the international attractiveness of the Institute;
  • creation of favorable social conditions for faculty, students and staff of the Institute.

 

 

The strategic goal of the development of KAI named after I. Abdraimov is the following

formation of an appropriate level capable of having a significant impact on the innovative development of Kyrgyz aviation, ensuring the competitiveness of domestic science and education in the scientific and educational space of the world scale.
