ICAO QUALITY, SAFETY AND STANDARDS DEPARTMENT
The ICAO Quality, Flight Safety and Standards Department is a structural subdivision of the Avinstitut.
The main purpose of the Quality Department is to improve the system of control and management of the quality of education, planning and implementation of new methods of quality management system, coordination of the educational process and organization of the activities of structural units, departments and services of the Institute to manage and ensure the quality of education and control the effectiveness of training specialists, ensuring flight safety in the process of training aviation specialists in the field of civil aviation, meeting the requirements of the national aviation
The Department of Quality, Flight Safety and ICAO Standards at the current stage is responsible for ensuring and implementing the effective functioning of the quality management system, implementing and coordinating the institute's quality policy in its structural units and departments, monitoring the quality indicators and processes of education, analyzing them and taking measures to improve quality; organizing and coordinating the external and internal audit of the quality management system, ensuring quality assurance of the teaching staff, ensuring the quality of the teaching staff, ensuring the quality assurance of the teaching staff, ensuring the quality of the teaching staff, and ensuring the quality of the teaching staff.

Within the framework of the official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic of the Director of the European and North Atlantic Regional Office of ICAO Nicholas Rallo in 2022, a meeting with the leadership and student community of the Institute was held.
ICAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that was established in 1944 to promote the safe and orderly development of international civil aviation worldwide. It establishes the international standards and regulations necessary to ensure flight safety, aviation security, the efficiency and regularity of air transportation and the protection of the environment from the effects of aviation.
ICAO's goal is to meet the public's need for safe, scheduled, efficient and cost-effective international air transportation and to ensure the safe and orderly growth of international civil aviation worldwide.
The ICAO Quality, Flight Safety and Standards Department, in accordance with the requirements of the air legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, ICAO standards and recommended practices on a permanent basis conducts constant supervision of compliance with the requirements of flight safety assurance by aviation training centers (partners) that provide flight training for student pilots.
Ongoing oversight of the safety performance of partner training centers providing flight training to student pilots is an integral part of the safety management system in providing safe and reliable aviation education services to student pilots.
