Condolences

At the age of 95, Vladimir Ivanovich Kolesnikov passed away — a Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a Veteran of Aeroflot, and a Veteran of Civil Aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic, holder of the “Отличник Аэрофлота СССР” and “Veteran of Labour” distinctions, and the first head of the Przhevalsk airport in 1952 (now Karakol Airport).
Career and contribution
Vladimir Ivanovich Kolesnikov made a significant contribution to the development of civil aviation in the Kyrgyz Republic. He was distinguished by high principle, honesty and great spiritual richness.
On 30 April, the staff of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after Ishembay Abdraimov congratulated Vladimir Ivanovich and his wife on the forthcoming Victory Day, and on 9 May he passed away…
