Campaign
The Ministry of Education and Science, with the aim of developing family reading circles, creating space for dialogue between children and adults, fostering patriotism, altruism and mutual assistance, compassion and empathy, respect for parents and civic responsibility among learners, and promoting the strengthening of family values and intergenerational bonds by restoring family reading traditions, announces the start of the campaign “THE WHOLE FAMILY READS”.
Participation
Any family may take part in the campaign.
How to participate
- 1The Ministry provides a list of books adapted to different ages for children and their parents.
- 2Parents together with their children read books daily and organise joint discussions.
- 3After finishing each book, participants should write a short essay and share important and instructive moments from the work within the family circle.
- 4Essays should be posted on a Facebook page with the hashtag: #үйдө_китеп_окуйбуз. Participants should pass the relay to their friends via social networks.
- 5The most active participating families will receive gifts. The most active family, provided they meet the requirements, will be nominated for the title “ОКУРМАН ҮЙ-БҮЛӨ / FAMILY ERUDITE”.
