Visit overview
Today, as part of an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, the Director of ICAO's European and North Atlantic Regional Office, Mr Nicolas Rallo, met with the institute's leadership and student community.
Mr Nicolas Rallo delivered a lecture to the younger generation of aviators on the future of civil aviation, new approaches to safety management and aviation security.
According to Mr Rallo, particular attention should be devoted to developing innovative technological solutions, creating alternative types of fuel and reducing harmful emissions into the environment.
Mr Rallo also spoke with students and answered many of their questions.
The institute's leadership expressed interest in cooperation and exchange of experience with leading aviation universities worldwide.
During the visit Mr Rallo familiarised himself with the institute's teaching and laboratory facilities and visited an exhibition of student works dedicated to civil aviation.
The institute's faculty expresses deep gratitude to Mr Rallo for honouring them with his visit.
