Repair and preparation of buildings
The maintenance service is preparing the complex of buildings and structures for the new academic year.
A major restoration overhaul is underway at the building on 87 Bakaeva Street; in particular, windows and doors have been replaced with modern plastic ones, and comprehensive repairs of sanitary facilities and rooms are being carried out.
Also, a decision has been made to carry out a major overhaul of the A. Kurvanaliev academic building, where all windows and doors are being replaced with modern plastic ones, and the building will be ready to receive students by 1 September.
Preparation of aviation equipment
At the training airfield, the practical base is being prepared: one AN-2 aircraft, one helicopter and a YAK-40 aircraft have been repainted.
The remaining aviation equipment is undergoing maintenance and is being prepared for painting.
Main academic building and acceptance
In the main academic building at 60 Lushchikhina Street, the entire auditorium stock has been prepared for the academic year, and shortly a commission led by Director Ulan Kurmanov will carry out the acceptance of the building.
KAI Museum
As part of preparations for KAI’s 50th anniversary, to be held in 2023, a new KAI museum building is being constructed. The museum is scheduled to be commissioned by 1 October of the current year.
