About the conference
As part of the celebrations of Ishembay Abdraimov’s 110th anniversary, on 15 March the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov hosted a student scientific-practical conference titled «I. Abdraimov — The First Pilot», organised by the cycle commission of socio-economic disciplines. Invited guests and participants of the conference noted Ishembay Abdraimov’s invaluable contribution to the civil aviation of Kyrgyzstan. In turn, aviation veteran Tleukhor Boshumova shared her recollections of working together with the honored aviator. Students presented reports and presentations about the life and work of one of the founders of civil aviation, who became a vivid example for the younger generation of aviators and inspired them to pursue a career as pilots. The event served not only as an opportunity to pay tribute to the honoured pilot, but also to continue his legacy, inspiring youth to feats and achievements in aviation.
