Nov. 24 — The I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute hosted a guest lecture on «Cyber Security and Cybercrime».
Lecturer
The lecture was conducted by Cholpon Nazarkulova, Candidate of Law, an officer of the Cyber Security Department of the Main Department for Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, lieutenant colonel of police.
About the lecture
During the meeting, students were informed about modern threats in the digital space, methods of protecting personal data, and the most common types of fraud perpetrated using information technologies.
Purpose of the lecture
The main purpose of the lecture was to raise the level of cyber literacy and to increase young people’s awareness of safe online behaviour.
