On the eve of arguably the most important holiday of our country, the celebration of the Turkic peoples' New Year was organised within the walls of our Institute. — Namely the celebration of the vernal equinox — Nooruz.
About the event
The event featured national songs, theatrical performances and a warm spring atmosphere brought by the young students of the Aviation Institute.
Since ancient times this holiday has been regarded as the beginning of nature's renewal and an occasion for kind wishes to relatives. Our people symbolise this day as the arrival of spring, the start of the new year and of new life.
Traditions
In every home a table is laid, the traditional dish — sumolok — is prepared, and people exchange good wishes.
