On 12 April, at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov, a wall-newspaper competition was held in honour of Aviation and Cosmonautics Day — the competition was organised by the Youth Council with the support of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Aviation Workers of Kyrgyzstan.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Trade Union of Aviation Workers of Kyrgyzstan, Bektemir Mambetaliev, presented a letter of appreciation to the director of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdrayimov, Kurmanov Ulan Esembekovich, and thanked, on his behalf, the entire workforce and the primary trade union organisation for long-term cooperation, social partnership and multifaceted support of young people.

At the competition, students presented their works to the jury and explained the concept and ideas behind their pieces.
