An international football tournament for children under 12 was held at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov — dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Honoured Pilot of the USSR, Ishembay Abdraimovich Abdraimov.

Tournament overview

Teams from various districts of the Chuy Region and a team from Korday, Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the sporting event. The teams demonstrated a high level of play and fought enthusiastically for victory.

Results

• 1Winner — the team from Korday, Republic of Kazakhstan.
• 2Second place — participants from Belovodsk.
• 3Third place — the team from Kyrgshelk.
• 4Fourth place — the “Kolosok” team from Nizhnechuyssk.

The best forwards, best defenders, the best goalkeeper and the best supporter were also recognised.

Excursion

Football was not the only activity the institute offered its guests. As part of the event, an engaging tour of the institute was organised for the children. They visited the aviation museum, which presented the rich history of aviation development and provided an opportunity to view various types of aircraft.
