On 23 September 2021, at a ceremonial assembly the Director of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov, Ulan Esembeckovich Kurmanov, congratulated students and colleagues on State Language Day and noted that state organisations pay particular attention to the use of the Kyrgyz language; above all, normative legal acts, laws, decrees and regulations are prepared in the Kyrgyz language.

Mr Kurmanov described the Kyrgyz language as a "priceless treasure" and said that the institute had purchased editions of "Manas", books on Kyrgyz literature and the history of the Kyrgyz state, dictionaries, textbooks and anthologies for the library, and that the university will hold a Decade of the State Language.
