On 9 February a lecture on "Pedestrian Safety" was held for students of the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute. The lecture was delivered by officers of the Patrol Service Directorate and representatives of the public association “Road Safety”. The director of the public association “Road Safety”, Chynara Kasmanbetova, presented the "Pedestrian Safety" presentation and cited the tragic statistics of road traffic fatalities worldwide and in Kyrgyzstan. In turn, Police Captain Dilyara Moldobaeva explained in detail the rules of conduct for pedestrians and for drivers in conditions of poor visibility. Police officers conducted a quiz-survey and rewarded outstanding students with small gifts.
