A series of guest lectures on the history of civil aviation of Kyrgyzstan has begun at the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute, featuring specialists who have devoted many years to the profession.

Lectures and participants

On 22 November a lecture took place: «Бойцы невидимого фронта: ГП «Кыргызаэронавигация» – образование, пути развития, модернизация», in which the First Deputy General Director of GP «Кыргызаэронавигация», Torokeldi Omurov, spoke about the specifics of an air traffic controller’s work. An interactive lecture for attendees was delivered by Honoured Aviator of the KR and KAI veteran Olga Ivankova. The experienced lecturer spoke about the subtleties of the flight attendant profession, actively involving students in a discussion about what a true cabin crew member should be.
