Safety measures and dormitory works
The Aviation Institute implements decisions of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic containing measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and pneumonia. A checkpoint regime has been organised where a security officer measures the temperature of employees with a non-contact thermometer upon entering the campus. Persons on the premises strictly observe health safety measures. Visits by outsiders are restricted. Intensive work is underway to prepare to combat coronavirus infection. In accordance with the Development Programme of KAI named after I. Abdraimov, capital repairs were carried out on the 3rd–4th floors of the student dormitory to improve living conditions. In early spring, the procurement department prepared all necessary construction materials by tender, which allowed the work to be completed in full. The total area of all repaired dormitory premises exceeded 1000 m2. A detailed plan of measures was developed to respond adequately to a possible second wave of Covid-19.
