On 21 May a solemn housewarming ceremony was held for the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting. — Institute staff came to congratulate and share in their colleagues' joy.
Ceremony
The director of the institute, Ulan Esembekovich Kurmanov, handed the right to cut the red ribbon for the ceremonial opening of the renovated building to aviation institute veterans Lyudmila Nikolaevna Olkhovskaya and Rakhimbek Dairovich Dairov. The ceremony included national elements such as the chachyla candy ritual and the smudging of rooms with juniper.

Renovation
The workspace that had served the aviation technical school for over 40 years was transformed into bright and cosy offices. Over a period of 2.5–3 months builders removed old materials such as roofing sheets and wooden battens, fully renewed the building's interior and exterior, and added a brick extension.
Outcome
As they reported, the most labour‑intensive work in the process was the fine finishing of the rooms.
