A student of the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute, group STB-1-19, Askhat uulu Otkur, a member of the national arm-wrestling team, took second place at the World Championship and won a silver medal.

About the Championship

From 26 October to 4 November 2019 the 42nd World Armwrestling Championship was held in Constanța, Romania. More than 1,500 athletes from 54 countries participated in the championship. The strongest athletes, who consistently occupy leading positions in the world rankings, demonstrated their achievements in this sport.
