Students of the institute organised a flash mob for Ak Kalpak Day. On 5 March, Kyrgyzstan observes Ak Kalpak Day (Ak kalpak künü). The holiday honours the national headgear of the Kyrgyz people — the white kalpak — and is observed under the resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 29 June 2016 No. 825-VI.
