Event
The cultural programme was notable for the variety and beauty of national culture. Students performed songs, presented national dances and staged the Kyrgyz national rite "Kyz uzatuu" for the guests, which created a special festive atmosphere. Various guests were invited to the event, including veterans of the institute.
“Today, on the eve of this bright holiday, it is especially touching to remember the Honoured Pilot of the USSR, pilot No.00001 — Ishembay Abdraimov, who would have turned 110 today, and on this very day in 2001 we bade him farewell. His contribution to the development of aviation in Kyrgyzstan and to the formation of generations of aviators cannot be overestimated. Today we remember him with reverence and deep respect.”
The event was organised by the Languages Cycle Commission, which demonstrated a high degree of professionalism in preparing the celebration.
