The State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic holds a workshop on assessment and management of aviation safety risks for managers and specialists of domestic airports, airlines, aviation fuel supply, air navigation and ground handling organizations. The seminar is held at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov.

Main objectives

• 1gaining knowledge of the basic principles of risk management;
• 2understanding the relationship between threat and risk;
• 3ability to identify sources of risk and sources of information;
• 4an understanding of the approach to proactive risk assessment;
• 5the ability to identify and define plausible scenarios;
• 6the ability to analyze criticality and vulnerability;
• 7ability to analyze risks based on probability and consequences;
• 8knowledge of the correct application of criteria for risk assessment;
• 9skills in developing and updating the threat list, etc.
