Abdraimov visited the "Ata-Beyit" memorial complex and paid tribute to the heroes of historical events.

Laying flowers

During the visit, students laid flowers at the monuments to the victims of the 1937–1938 repressions, at the memorials to the heroes of the April 2010 events, at the monument commemorating the victims of the 1916 uprising, and at the memorial to the great writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

Significance of the visit

The visit provided the younger generation with an important historical experience, enabling them to better understand and appreciate the historical significance of this site. The event is one of the institute’s good traditions, and each year first‑year students take part in it.
