About the conference
On 15 October 2019, at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute and under the auspices of the Civil Aviation Agency and the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic, the first Republican scientific-practical conference on “Current Issues of Aviation Medicine in the Kyrgyz Republic” was held, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of aviation medicine in the Kyrgyz Republic and the 46th anniversary of the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute. The conference programme included issues of medical certification of aviation personnel, sanitary and epidemiological support for civil aviation aircraft of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as matters concerning prevention of the effects of various factors related to aviation medicine. Experts were invited to participate from the Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Centre of Cardiology and Therapy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Flight Medical Expert Commission of the medical unit of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzaeronavigation", branches of JSC "Manas International Airport", and the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute.
