On 2 October 2024 the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov hosted a guest lecture for students and distance-learning master’s students.
About the lecture
The lecture was delivered by an IATA inspector from Azerbaijan, Mr Mikail Ahmedli, who is an expert in the carriage of dangerous goods by air. During the lecture Mr Ahmedli described in detail the classification and compatibility of goods, which is a key aspect of safety in air logistics. He emphasised the importance of complying with the international standards and rules established by IATA to minimise risks when transporting hazardous materials.
Questions and discussion
Students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss practical aspects of handling dangerous goods, which contributed to deepening their knowledge in this field.
