Victory in the Great Patriotic War demanded from our entire nation an enormous exertion of spiritual and physical strength, unparalleled heroism at the front and selfless dedication on the home front. Victory Day is pain and tears of joy; it is the memory of the heart that every family cherishes. It is that which unites us and makes us invincible in the face of any trials. It is our duty to remember at what cost Victory was won in that terrible war and to honour the memory of the fallen. A deep bow and our most sincere words of gratitude to you, our dear veterans, and to all those who forged Victory on the home front, for your great, immortal deed, for your strength of spirit and courage!
