On 5 April 2024, the Minister of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov, paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov. During the visit, prospects for developing cooperation between the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov and the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed with the aim of ensuring modern and effective training of specialists in aviation and military science. The Minister of Defence expressed his interest in improving the educational process and emphasised the importance of cooperation between educational institutions to ensure high-quality personnel training.
