On 18 January, a ceremonial event was held to mark the implementation of the programme of activities announced for State Language Day.

Minister's remarks

"Promoting the state language — the masterpieces of our ancestors such as the epic 'Manas', the Yenisei inscriptions on the monuments of Kyrgyz khagans, and national folklore, poetry and prose — is a contribution to world culture; this is history and the future of the country," said the minister.

Event activities and awards

Summary
A video report on the activities carried out within the month was shown at the event, a photo exhibition was organised, and teachers who actively participated in events aimed at developing the state language ("Best Speaker", "Multilingual Teacher", "Modern Digital Manual", "Innovative Methods", etc.) were awarded. Veteran teachers who devoted their lives to the development of the Kyrgyz language received the "Best Mentor" award and letters of appreciation.

Acknowledgements

Among the teachers who received letters of appreciation is the Kyrgyz language teacher of the Aviation Institute, Askarova Nazgul Askarovna.
