28 April a guest lecture on "Organisation of aviation accident investigation" was delivered for 2nd- and 3rd-year students of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov by Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Dolzhenko, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor of the Academy of Civil Aviation in Almaty.

About the lecture

The lecturer explained that the purpose of an aviation accident investigation is to establish the causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence; she then described the stages and procedures of investigation in the Republic of Kazakhstan. N. A. Dolzhenko drew students' attention to the need for effective preventive methods.
