From 8 to 12 December 2021 a meeting of the Coordination Commission on Air Navigation under the Interstate Aviation Committee took place — dedicated to the Committee's 30th anniversary. Representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and other countries attended.

The delegation from Kyrgyzstan at the anniversary event included the director of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute, Kurmanov U. E.

Conference and planned events

Events for the 30th anniversary
To mark the Committee's 30th anniversary, on 15 December a conference on innovative development "Together with the aviation world into the future" was held, in which the institute director Ulan Esembeckovich participated; on 16 December a meeting of the interstate Council is scheduled.

About the Interstate Aviation Committee

The Interstate Aviation Committee is the executive body of the Interstate Council on Aviation and the Use of Airspace of the CIS. In December 1991 the Agreement on Civil Aviation and on the Use of Airspace was signed by the heads of state and government of twelve independent states. The activities of the Interstate Aviation Committee contribute to the deepening of CIS integration processes and the harmonisation of civil aviation in Commonwealth countries within the international aviation community.
