The Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov, together with the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, successfully conducted international training courses for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators of categories C0, C1 and C2.

Organisers and participants

Within the framework of the Program of the Program Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the Kyrgyz Republic (UNODC), courses were organised for students and experts from law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with the aim of improving specialists' qualifications and ensuring the safe operation of unmanned systems.

Course programme

The course programme included both theoretical and practical training. Participants mastered the key aspects of UAV control, became familiar with the technical characteristics of various types of drones, their operating rules, and the current regulatory and legal requirements in the field of aviation safety.

Results
Upon completion of the courses, all participants received official certificates confirming their qualifications as UAV operators of the corresponding categories.
