On 18 April, Hero of Russia, pilot‑cosmonaut and our compatriot Sergey Korsakov paid a friendly visit to the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov.

Visit and meeting with students

During the visit the honoured guest familiarised himself with the institute's activities, visited the institute museum and laid flowers at the monument to Ishembai Abdraimov.

Subsequently, a meeting with students took place in the Grand Assembly Hall, where Sergey Korsakov spoke in detail about preparations for the launch flight and shared his impressions of the flight itself. Many questions were asked by the students, to which the cosmonaut replied with interest and in detail.
