On 1 April 2026 representatives of the International Department of the Siberian State University named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev, led by the head of the department E. V. Tikhikh and her deputy S. V. Gorbunova, visited the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov.

Signing of the roadmap

Roadmap of Cooperation
During the visit a Roadmap of Cooperation was signed, which provides for academic mobility of teaching staff, student exchange, joint research projects and the efficient use of the resources of the two universities.

Areas of cooperation

The parties discussed existing points of contact and outlined new directions for joint work, including technical educational programmes.

The visit was an important step towards strengthening international ties and expanding opportunities for students and academic staff.
