On 1 October 2024, a student scientific-practical conference titled «Ulut bolsom- tilim menen ultmun» was held at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov — The conference was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the 35th anniversary of the Kyrgyz language being granted state status.

About the conference

In his welcoming address, the institute director Kurmanov Ulan Esembekovich emphasised the importance and relevance of the Kyrgyz language at the state level and within society.

During the conference, students presented reports on the development and flourishing of the language, described the achievements and capabilities of the Kyrgyz-language artificial intelligence “Akylay”, and recited poems by Kyrgyz writers.
