On 14 March the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute announced the competition results — the contest was aimed at unlocking students' potential across various aspects of civil aviation.
About the competition
This event was an important step in training highly qualified specialists for the aviation industry of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the competition was to identify and support talented students, as well as to stimulate their interest in research activities. The organizers sought to improve the quality of training of specialists who in the future will work in the field of civil aviation.
Competition tracks
1Creating an airline project to obtain an operator's certificate: this track required students to have in-depth knowledge of aviation business, regulatory affairs and airline operations.
2Designing an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) project based on the institute's laboratories: with the growing role of UAVs in various industries, this competitive item allowed students to showcase their engineering and design skills.
3Creation of a new airfield project and its subsequent certification: this area emphasised the importance of aviation infrastructure planning and design, as well as compliance with safety standards.
4Creating an aviation security service project at an international airport: in a highly demanding security environment, this competition item allowed students to develop effective systems to protect against threats.
5Creation of the project of a modern Aviation Technical Center, according to PART 147 and PART 66 requirements: this direction is focused on the training of aircraft maintenance specialists in accordance with international standards.
Contest results
1The group led by Senior Lecturer Panin Alexey Viktorovich won the first place (80,000 soms)
2The group under the guidance of teacher Nurzhan Temirbekovich Myrzabekov won the first place (80 000 soms)
3The group led by senior teacher Abdraimov Edilbek Satilovich won the second place (50,000 soms)
4The group led by the teacher Mr. Munarbek Ysakov won the second place (50,000 soms)
5The group led by teacher Abdrazaev Nurlan Kozhoevich won the third place (10,000 soms).
6In the nomination "Best Scientific Research" the Group under the guidance of the teacher Pirmatov Jenishbek Tolobayevich was recognised by the jury for innovative approach and promising development (70 000 soms).
Significance
Such competitions play an important role in improving the quality of education and developing the professional competencies of future civil aviation specialists. They allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, develop teamwork and problem-solving skills, gain experience working on real-world projects and increase their competitiveness in the labour market.
