About the Consortium
The Russian–Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities (RKKTU) was established in 2013 on the basis of decisions of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz–Russian Commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian cooperation (Protocol of the 13th meeting dated 12 April 2011 and Protocol of the 14th meeting dated 27 April 2012). The Consortium was created with the support of the Ministries of Education and Science of both countries and is a voluntary association of Russian and Kyrgyz universities that signed the Agreement on the establishment of the Consortium and later joined it, sharing common goals of supporting and developing joint network educational programmes.
