Manas Air Ways donated an AN-2 aircraft to the Aviation Institute free of charge — the material and technical base of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute is being strengthened in accordance with the Civil Aviation Development Programme for 2016–2020, approved by a Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Delivery and transport
Institute staff successfully carried out the complex work of dismantling and transporting the aircraft from the Sokuluk District airfield.
Historical note
The AN-2 was one of the flagships of civil aviation in the Kyrgyz Republic and the former USSR. It was in service for more than 70 years.
