As part of events organised by the Ministry of Transport and Communications dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic — the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute is preparing the university for the new academic year and a possible return to the traditional mode of study.

Repairs and infrastructure preparation

• 1Idle premises of 550 m2 have been put into operation to organise the educational process ahead of the academic year.
• 2Repair works are being carried out on the laboratory building and the institute’s physical culture and recreation complex.
• 3Following completion of the works, classrooms and auditoriums in the main academic building will be renovated, including the "Laboratory of Cosmonautics and Rocket Engineering" and the "Laboratory of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles".
• 4An Alley of aviation veterans who made a significant contribution to the development of civil aviation and the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute is being prepared for presentation.
