Guest lecture “Features of training aviation specialists at educational institutions of Ukraine” — on 18 November 2021 Argunov Gennady Fyodorovich, lecturer and Associate Professor of the Department of Aeronavigation Systems at the National Aviation University (Kyiv), delivered a guest lecture on this topic to students of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute.

About the lecture

Gennady Fyodorovich told students about the university, the specifics of organising the educational process, recognition of Ukrainian university diplomas and employment opportunities in the European Union, about the development by Ukrainian specialists of regulatory acts in the field of aviation, the development of private aviation and the engagement of foreign pilots, the organisation by airlines of retraining courses for technicians to service modern airliners, and the demand for private aircraft maintenance centres by major airlines.

Students asked questions about the possibility of continuing education in master's programmes, the language of instruction and the retraining of technicians to modern aircraft types.

Reference

The history of the National Aviation University dates back to 1933, when the Kyiv Aviation Institute was established on the basis of the Aviation Faculty of the Kyiv Machine-Building Institute. Currently, about 25,000 students study at the university. Link: https://nau.edu.ua/
