About the lecture
8 декабря 2021 года руководитель клуба “Radio Control” Сергей Георгиевич Баимов прочитал гостевую лекцию о беспилотных летательных аппаратах. Баимов С. Г. spoke about the areas of application of UAVs and their functions, classification, flight modes, interface tasks and the advantages of using a flight simulator. During the lecture, students not only saw different types of drones but were also able to handle control and stabilization transmitters. Drawing on his experience as a technician in repair and tuning of unmanned aviation systems, Sergey Georgievich provided students with recommendations on which components to choose for assembling their model and on the optimal balance between weight and flight duration. Referring to international practice, he drew the students' attention to the fact that the specialty in development and tuning of UAVs is ranked among the 50 most in-demand professions.
