On 13 April 2022 a guest lecture was delivered to students of specialty 670300 "Technology of Transport Processes" of the Faculty of Civil Aviation, profile "Air Traffic Management", by senior controller of the Bishkek ATM Centre of the State Enterprise «Кыргызаэронавигация», Tashtemirov Nurlan Akkozuevich.

About the lecture

During the lecture titled "Introduction to the Profession" Mr Tashtemirov explained the role of air traffic control staff in ensuring flight safety.

He noted that, in addition to physical fitness, an air traffic controller must possess psycho-emotional resilience and the ability to work under stress. While answering students' questions, he also emphasised the importance of English proficiency in civil aviation.
