On 12 April, the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after Ishembay Abdraimov held its annual event dedicated to the International Day of Cosmonautics and Aviation — the “Open Day” — which brought together prospective students and guests not only from the capital but from regions across the country.

Visitors were offered a concert programme prepared by students. Tours were organised of the museums, laboratories, classrooms and the institute’s training ground.

Meeting with prospective students
In the large assembly hall an orientation meeting was held in a questions-and-answers format; video materials about the institute’s history and specialities were shown. Institute specialists and lecturers provided comprehensive support to visitors, advising and answering all questions of interest.
