Open Day
On 11 April 2025, the Ishimbai Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute held an Open Day timed to the International Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics.
Event programme
The event brought together prospective applicants, secondary school students and guests not only from the city of Bishkek but from regions across the country.
In the institute's large assembly hall, visitors were presented with a concert programme prepared by students. Tours of the museums, laboratories, lecture halls and the institute training ground were also organised.
Welcoming remarks
Representatives of the institute leadership, and Semyon Polyakov, Vice‑President of the Russian Cultural Centre “Garmoniya”, addressed the participants. Institute lecturers and specialists engaged actively with visitors, providing detailed consultations and answering questions.
Exhibition and tours
An exhibition dedicated to Cosmonautics Day was organised as part of the event.
