With the support of the Boru-Bash ayil okmotu administration and the Aksy district of Issyk-Kul region, and with financial assistance from the relatives and close associates of A. Kurbanaliev, a ceremony was held at the premises of the T. Mambetakunov secondary school in the village of Cherik to unveil a monument to the legendary pilot and wartime aviator Abduvali Kurbanaliev.

Event

A delegation from the I. Abdraimov Kyrgyz Aviation Institute took part in the unveiling of the monument. Participants of the ceremony laid flowers at the monument and delivered speeches.
