Aydana Burkutpaeva became the recipient of the title "Best Student in the CIS" — the competition took place within the framework of the "IV International Book Publication" project among scientific and educational institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

About the competition

The competition took place within the framework of the "IV International Book Publication" project among scientific and educational institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

About the student

Aydana is a fourth-year student at the Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov, studying transport organisation and management in air transport. The subject of her research paper, recognised as the best in the competition, is "Use of BIG DATE technologies in civil aviation".

On big data

Big data — large volumes of data analysed using specialised computer technologies. The analysis of big data is already applied in many areas — to ensure safety, for diagnosis and prevention of diseases, and for predicting accidents and catastrophes.

Plans

In a conversation with us, Aydana said that she intends to continue developing in the field of Civil Aviation and does not plan to stop her research activities.

The leadership of the Aviation Institute is proud of its future graduate and is confident that this award is only the first step in her future great and bright career.
