On 6 May, at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov, a guest lecture was held dedicated to women pilots who took part in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. The lecture featured Professor A.S. Katsev of the Kyrgyz–Russian Slavic University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, as well as the curator of the KAI museum and veteran of Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan T.I. Boshumova. Students listened attentively to a vivid and informative lecture recounting the outstanding feats of women pilots during the Great Patriotic War. This event reminded everyone of the importance of transmitting and preserving the historical memory of the feats and heroism of women in wartime, inspiring future achievements and deeds in the cause of defending peace and freedom.
