Event proceedings
On 7 October 2024, a ceremonial event dedicated to Civil Aviation Day and the 91st anniversary of civil aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic took place at the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute named after I. Abdraimov. In his congratulatory address, the Director of the State Agency for Civil Aviation, Daniyar Bostonov, congratulated everyone on the professional holiday and emphasised the successes and achievements of the aviation sector, as well as the importance of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute's work in training highly qualified personnel. A representative of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Iskenderova Kunduz, in turn noted the importance of civil aviation today — its key role in economic, cultural and social processes. The event featured speeches by leaders of aviation enterprises, the aviation workers' trade union and veterans of civil aviation, who shared their impressions and experience. In honour of the holiday, awards were presented to distinguished aviation industry employees and institute lecturers. The festive event concluded with a concert programme prepared by the institute's students, which gave all attendees positive emotions and vivid impressions.
